Guitar Lessons
I have been playing guitar since I was a teenager. I read music fluently but prefer to teach a very specific group – adults 50 and over – in a very specific way. I teach my students chords and melody through songs, as opposed to teaching them to read sheet music.
For adults over 50, this technique not only works to develop one’s passion for music and learn to play your favorite songs, but it also benefits the brain by keeping it active. Having just turned 60, I’m amazed at how I’m still able to learn and develop as a guitar player / singer, and love to see others thrive and develop their guitar skills. Lessons are 1 hour at Dan’s basement studio, or can be in your home as well.
